Stump Grinding/removal

At arbor Oak we are able to offer a stump removal service to deal with the leftover tree stump.

It’s hard work and time consuming to try and dig a stump out with a spade (trust us we have tried!) there are far easier ways of stump removal. we use a specialist piece of equipment called  a stump grinder. A powerful machine with tungsten carbide teeth it can grind out a stump with minimal disturbance to the ground surrounding the stump.

Limited access is not a problem as our machine is only 27 inches wide, which will fit through most gateway,s and is light enough to be safely lifted by two people. This makes it the best method for stump removal in the smallest of gardens.

The added bonus of using a stump grinder to remove a tree stump is the leftover chippings can be left as a beneficial mulch which is great if you are replanting straight away. Grinding is by far the most economical way to remove a tree stump.
