Tree pruning
At Arbor Oak we are able to undertake all forms of tree pruning. Below is a short list of the more common pruning techniques we use.
Crown Reduction: this type of pruning reduces the overall size of the tree crown and is done as a percentage ie 20% reduction meaning the crown will have 20% removed.
Crown Thin: this type of pruning reduces the overall density of the tree allowing light and air to get into the tree.
Crown Raise / Lift: this type of pruning involves removing some of the lower branches of the tree to allow greater clearance under the crown.
Crown Cleaning: this type of pruning entails removing any dead/diseased limbs, any rubbing branches, cracked or broken branches. This is a good way of removing any branches that may come out during high winds.
This is just a short list of tree pruning techniques as all trees and customers needs are different we will be able to advise you the best course of action for your tree as part of the quotation process.
